I believe this question has been previously asked but I've ran through the recommended troubleshooting to no avail. Still displaying "Input Signal Not Found" on second monitor. Works fine from laptop and other HDMI cables. Restarted multiple times and all drivers fine.
How can I find out if my second monitor is not compatible or if there are hardware issues? HP Support seems to be down today...

If you are trying to connect a monitor using the HDMI connector, see picture indicated as #8
That HDMI port is indicated as input only. A second monitor may be added using the port as #2
NOTE: Connects a display device that has a USB Type-C connector, providing DisplayPort output.
If the monitor does not accept DisplayPort connection, then an adapter for DisplayPort to HDMI is needed.
