I noticed that some types of Pavilion all-in-one have a HDMI-in port on the machine.
I wonder if HP can allow users to capture video input signal though this HDMI-in without a capture card?
I found the software HP Display Control can switch the video signal from the OS side. So maybe it's possible?

No, HDMI in ports don't work that way. They allow you to bypass internal hardware.
Hope this makes sense.
