I currently have the DVI port connected to a monitor whose resolution maxes out at 1600 x 900. I am trying to find out what is the DVI connection on this pc iscapable of. If I connect a 1920 x 1080 full HD monitor to the DVI port is it capable of running at that resolution? If so, what refresh rate would it able to supply - 60 or 75 Hz?
The system specs are
Core i5-4460 @ 3.2GHz
Intel HD Graphics 4600
Windows 10 64 bit
motherboard model is IPMB7-MP
If you need more information to answer my question please ask away.
Thanks in advance!

Hi:
To determine the maximum resolution of the graphics adapter, see the info at the link below...
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000023781/graphics-drivers.html
Here is the product information regarding your PC's processor.
Even with the analog VGA port, the maximum resolution exceeds the resolution you want to achieve.
DVI should provide even greater resolution than 1920x1200@60Hz.
I would speculate that it would be almost the same as the display port spec.
