HP Pavilion P6000 Series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Pavilion P6000 Series desktop and I want to add in a second monitor. The monitor I will get is the exact same as my current monitor (HP w1907 19" LCD).

I have a VGA port and a DVI port on my tower right next to each other. I am using the VGA port for my current monitor and I want to use the DVI port for my second. I would like to know what DVI cable I need exactly to run my second monitor or what I need exactly.

Thanks!

Thanks.

Your machine is:

and the second monitor is

      https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00916924

with

  • Video inputs supported:
    • VGA analog signal
    • DVI-D digital signal

Your macchine supports both VGA and DVI-D at the same time and it has 2 ports at its back:

Your first monitor is connected to port #3 and second monitor can be connected to port #13 using a DVI-D cable. I think cable should come with the monitor otherwise please go to a good computer store and buy one with a right length for you.

Regards.
