EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Am considering this particular model but have become confused in researching through HP documents. I have an EliteDesk 800 G1 which works wonderfully with a Dell 4K monitor through DP. Presumably this G2 being a newer model would also enable higher resolution.

From the specs sheet, it uses Intel Gen 6 CPU with  Intel® HD Graphics 530 iGPU. Please use the following specs:

It specs

which shows SFF machines have 2 Display ports. It does not say which version of the DP ports, only says Multimode capable; supports HDCP, Display Port Audio (2 streams), HBR2 link rates and Multi-Stream Technology for a maximum of 3 displays (including the integrated panel)

Please look at a table on page 32 for SFF machines with  NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 730 2GB PCIe x8 Graphics Card option to see available resolutions and refresh rates.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I had seen and saved that HP document. For my purposes however, I'm considering a refurb from Amazon, which only comes equipped with Intel HD Graphics. The page specs you referenced are for a Nvidia NVS 310 card. One would presume that a more up to date, current model would retain a similar ability. I don't want to pull the trigger only to discover that I'm unable to use and appreciate the full resolution from my monitor.

Thank you for providing an answer to my question. It is clear to me now when it wasn't before (as mentioned, I'd saved the G2 QuickSpecs) but had missed or overlooked the Intel model number.
