Hi, I wanted to add an eGPU to my desktop and had to know if the port was USB-C Thunderbolt compatible. There was not a lightning symbol, so I suppose not, but I heard online that all thunderbolt cables are compatible with USB-C ports, so I just wanted to know if it was true or not.

@reiism -- a bit of mathematical reasoning: "If A implies B, then it does not follow that B implies A".

Example: if some men are pilots, it does not imply that all pilots are men, because women can be pilots.

In World War II, after an airplane was manufactured, it usually was a female pilot who flew the plane to the deilvery-airport.

If you have a USB-C socket, and a Thunderbolt cable, you can connect that cable to a USB device.

If you have a Thunderbird socket, you cannot use an ordinary USB-C cable -- you need a Thunderbolt cable, if you want to connect to a Thunderbolt-using device.

It has 1 USB-C port at its back, no more information, definitely it is NOT a Thunderbolt port
