When trying to watch my movie, when i open up Cyberlink Power Media Player 14 and go to movies and insert a disc and put it in full-screen, and have my mouse still for 1-2 seconds, the top bar of it with the question mark (?) and the underline mark (_) and some other marks, as well as the name Power Media Player are still there. Also the bottom things like the play, pause, stop icons leave, so it is just the top icons still there. So cany anyone help me?

Hello, @Xler81961 - Hope you are well 🙂
Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!
I see that you are trying to play full-screen video using the Cyberlink Power Media Player. This looks like an issue with the player. First off, try to install the following SoftPaq to upgrade the Power Media Player software: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71924.exe
Restart the PC once done and check if that helps.
If the issue persists, try to reinstall the player as suggested below:
Step 1: Uninstall Cyberlink Power Media Player:
- Open Control Panel and select Programs.
- Select Apps and features.
- Choose Cyberlink Power Media Player or Cyberlink PowerDVD from the program list.
- Follow the on screen instructions to uninstall the software.
Step 2: Reinstall Power Media Player from Recover Manager:
- Type HP Recovery Manager in the Search field.
- Click on HP Recovery Manager in the results field.
- Select Reinstall drivers and/or Applications.
- Locate and select Cyberlink Power Media Player or Cyberlink PowerDVD from the list.
- Click on the Install button.
- Follow the on screen instructions to install the software.
- Restart the computer when the installation is complete.
If the issue persists, try to use a different media player such a VLC player and check it that helps.
Let me know if that helps!
Good luck 🙂
