I have a old Envy 20 touchsmart desktop that I'm re-purposing as a station for customers that runs Powerpoint in the kiosk mode.
Everything works fine, except that the display is kind of dim even at 100% brightness and had to see from an angle.
It's not a fair comparison, but an iPad right next to it is so much brighter and visible from sides.
But I still like the idea of using a touchsmart windows machine to show promotional materials to customers.
So, I'm wondering if there was a jump in the quality of display in the HP touchsmart line-up since Envy 20, and if so, what that threshold model was.
