Product: Hp X24c Gaming Monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got this monitor today from amazon, set it up and have been using it since around 3pm. No problems whatsoever. When I turned the monitor off after I was done I could hear this faint squeal coming from the monitor.

 

When I remove the hdmi the noise gets a little fainter and only stops when I turn the power off from the wall.

 

I have tried other plugs and still get the same result.

I just bought the monitor a couple of days ago and have the same problem. There´s no problem when it is on, but there´s quite an annoying noise when you turn it off. Something keeps working inside the monitor while it is off. If you remove the power cable, the noise stops but something doesnt feels right. I do not know what to do to remove tha noise. Thanks.
