hi, it's a brand new HP Pavilion 31.5 Inch All-In-One Desktop PC 32-B0000i (3N9R4AV)

there are no error messages on the computer, but the monitor says no signal.

there are 3 HDMI ports on the computer and none of them seem to support output to a second monitor, its as though they are all HDMI input ports... which baffles me!

is this the case?

the monitor works on all other devices, and ice tried other monitors with the Pavilion and nothing works.

Basically my question is, why have three HDMI ports if none support output to a secondary monitor. Why call it an All In One when I need to buy even more kit to make it do the simple task of having a secondary monitor.

Hi @VIX1234,

Follow the below steps to fix the issue.

-Perform a power drain on your PC.

1) Unplug the power cord from the PC & wall.

2) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

3) Plug the power cord back into the PC and then connect it to the wall.

4) Power on the PC, check for Windows updates, and install them following the below steps.

go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for updates. If the upgrade is available for your device and you want to proceed, download and install it.

-Update the BIOS for your PC by clicking on the link.

Make sure you keep only the charger plugged in while updating the BIOS for your PC.

Click on the + sign next to BIOS and then download the file.

Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!

No updates required, its brand new and all the drivers are the most up to date according to the Computer. Please can you advise why it has 3 HDMI ports that do not work..

Hi @VIX1234,

I am sorry to hear that all the 3 HDMI ports are not working on your brand new Desktop.

This issue might require one-on-one interaction to fix it.
