I am trying to extend my desktop view to an external monitor. For some reason, it is not working. I see a message "check signal cable" on my monitor I am seeing the same issue with another monitor and I tried multiple HDMI cables but ran into the same issue. Spoke with windows support they said the software is working as expected. it might be an issue on the HP side, may be a need to update bios. any pointer to what i need to do to extend my desktop view to an external monitor?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues connecting an external monitor to the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
