hi guys could i have some help?

I have cracked the glass screen on my laptop, no damage has been done to the interactive touch screen on the right side but the left side where it's cracked i obviously cannot use interactive touch, the screen hasn't went funny or anything it's just the glass of the screen for the display, i understand i may need to replace the whole top half of the screen but I am to scared to do it my self and don't trust a corner shop to do it, does anyone now if hp or currys take it and how much the repair would be?
