critical update for HP display control

I keep getting a hp critical update for HP display control.  I have downloaded the update and ran exe file.   This is the file

it saves save the file here

The exe file puts it in the program file.  Everything appears to have updated but every time you start up computer it starts over with install HPDC_service as if it did not install.  Any ideas?
