Hi @Loubo,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Your Connections:

  • Ensure that all cables connecting your PC to external devices, if any, are securely plugged in. This includes power cable connections.

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Outdated or corrupt drivers can cause display issues. Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest graphics driver for your model.

Adjust Power Settings:

  • Sometimes, power-saving modes can cause the screen to blackout. Check your power settings by going to the Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Power Options, then modify the settings to prevent the screen from turning off.

Check for Overheating:

  • Overheating can cause temporary blackouts. Ensure your PC is placed in a well-ventilated area and consider cleaning any dust from vents.

Run Hardware Diagnostics:

  • HP provides built-in diagnostics tools which can be accessed during startup by pressing F2. Running these tests can help identify any hardware failures.

Check for Software Conflicts:

  • Recent installations of software or updates can sometimes cause display issues. Rollback or uninstall any recent changes to see if this resolves the issue.

Perform a System Restore:

  • If the issue persists, consider performing a system restore to a point before the problem started. This is done by accessing the System Restore from Windows settings.
    I hope this helps.
