Anyway to get 2 monitors to display different stuff with only 1 HDMI port?

Not possible 😞

videocard sends one signal for each available port

I was able to attach two monitors in my laptop using one HDMI port and one VGA. If your laptop has one, you could try it.  Does your laptop have other video ports (i.e. Display Port) that could be used as well? With one of those ports and the right adapter you should be able to use two monitors.
