HP Pavilion Elite HPE-570f Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can't see anything on my display when I boot up my PC. I've removed the original ATI Radeon HD 6770 Graphics card because of overheating. I was getting everything good on my monitor (HP 2310m). But after activating the onboard graphics (Radeon/ATI HD-4200) and using windows 10 update to update I have been unable to get anything displayed on the monitor. My PC boots up but I'm unable to see anything displayed on my monitor. I've tested the monitor with another pc, and it works. My monitor is set for 1024x768 - 60Hz, but when it detects the VGA signal from the PC it tries to adjust to 1920x1080 - 60Hz.

My PC is an HPE-570f w/16GB of memory and updated from Windows 7-64 to Windows 10. I also have an ATI Radeon X1300PRO - PCIe 256 - installed and it was working previously thru the DVI connector, but now it does not display anything at all. I suspect that the BIOS may need a reset or recovery.

Thank for any suggestions, I need help!

Thanks for your reply. I found out that video from the AMD Radeon HD-4200 video was very dim and could only be visible in the dark. No video from the HDMI and only (faint) from the vga output.

Did not need to reset the BIOS.

Thak you all for your kind sugestions.

hi

given the age of the computer, we may not find much more in the hp support!
You say the computer starts, but that does not guarantee that it is functional
either it's a simple problem with windows 10, or for some reason there is a more serious problem
Have you tried booting directly into the bios?
computer off, start and hit the key several times
for many model it is f10 but a doubt for this one!
