how to do a monitor factory reset on all-in-one HP Touchsmart 520 PC without physical monitor setting buttons
https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c00791958
the PC does not start up, instead, the monitor cycles full screens of black, red, green, and blue color

@AndreBenedict
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
-
Open the onscreen display.
-
Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to highlight Advanced Menu.
-
Press the Select button to open the Advanced menu.
-
Select Factory Reset from the Advanced menu.
-
Select Yes.
-
Press the Menu button to close the onscreen display.
The monitor should show the correct behavior when going into standby mode.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
