hi my new hp 32 monitor when connected to my pc shows only the background but not the  apps, but  when i connect it to a philips 24 it works perfectly  any possible solutions?

Check Display Settings:

  • Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings." Ensure that the display is set to "Duplicate" or "Extend" mode rather than "Second screen only."

Verify Connection:

  • Ensure that all cables are securely connected. If you are using an HDMI or DisplayPort, try reconnecting it, or use a different cable if available.

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Go to the manufacturer's website (for your graphics card) and download the latest drivers. Install them to see if that resolves the issue.

Resolution Settings:

  • Adjust the resolution settings to ensure that your monitor supports the resolution coming from your PC. Make sure the settings are optimal and compatible with the HP 32-inch monitor.

Test with Different Port:

  • If your monitor supports different input ports (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.), try using a different one.

Refresh Rate:

  • Check the refresh rate settings in your display settings and ensure they are set correctly for the HP monitor.

Monitor Menu Settings:

  • Use the monitor's built-in menu settings to check if there are any configurations that need adjustments.
