Microsoft Windows 11

hp 5mp camera on win 11 all in one desktop will not recognize Free Conference Call app. Works fine with onboard camera app that came with the all in one.  Have checked all win 11 privacy settings and they are all correctly set.

@Rossjr99, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Even though Windows privacy settings are correct, go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Free Conference Call, and make sure it has permission to access the camera.

Open the Free Conference Call app.

Go to Settings > Video (or a similar option).

If there’s a dropdown menu, manually select the HP 5MP Camera as the video source.

If another app (like Zoom, Teams, or Skype) is using the camera in the background, Free Conference Call may not be able to access it. Close other apps that may be using the camera and try again.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
