my monitor started blinking twice every few min, i have tried many things to fix it but nothing works, i have tried unplugging all the cable and holding the power button for a min then plugging it all back in. i have done a factory reset, i have updated drivers but nothing works, it still blinks, and its the whole screen that blinks not just the led. though sometimes it goes for a long time without blinking and then starts blinking again.

@msgbubba, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Try a Different Cable and Port
Replace the HDMI/DisplayPort cable with a new one, even if the current one looks fine.
If possible, try a different port on the monitor and PC. Also test another input type.
Connect to a Different Computer or Laptop
This helps isolate if the issue is with the monitor or the graphics source.
If it still blinks with another device, the monitor itself is likely the problem.
Lower the Refresh Rate or Resolution
On Windows:
Right-click desktop > Display Settings > Advanced display > Lower refresh rate to 60Hz.
Set resolution to native (recommended) if it's not already.
Try a Different Power Outlet
Power irregularities can cause brief signal loss or blinking. Try plugging the monitor into a different socket or surge protector.
