@Madann, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding No Signal from DisplayPort to HDMI!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you are experiencing a "No Signal" issue when connecting from a DisplayPort to HDMI, follow these steps to troubleshoot the problem:

Check the Cable and Adapter:

  • Ensure that the DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and cable are securely connected.
  • Try using a different adapter or cable to rule out a faulty one.

Select the Correct Input Source:

  • Make sure the display is set to the correct input source (HDMI or DisplayPort). Use the display's menu to select the appropriate input source.

Inspect the Ports:

  • Examine the DisplayPort and HDMI ports on both the display and the device for any visible damage.

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Ensure that the graphics drivers on your device are up-to-date. Visit your device manufacturer's website for the latest drivers.

Configure Display Settings:

  • On your computer, go to display settings and ensure that the display is detected. Adjust the resolution settings to match those supported by the display.

Test with Another Device:

  • If possible, connect another device that uses a DisplayPort to HDMI connection to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if the problem is with the display or the device.

Restart Devices:

  • Try restarting both the computer and the display to refresh the connection.

Check for Compatibility:

  • Verify that the adapter you are using supports the specific resolution and refresh rate you are trying to achieve.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
