Can I use an HP 24" mini in one monitor with a desktop PC without the monitor's mini in one internal computer installed?

@MsHt Are you asking if you can connect two computers (HP Mini and another desktop) to the same monitor? If yes, I'm afraid you cannot, only one desktop can be connected to a monitor, although, multiple monitors can be connected to one desktop.
