HP Elitebook 840 Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The ZDisplay is connected to the laptop with a HDMI.

After some time (hours) the display shows vertical lines.zdisplay-artifact.jpg

This happens with different laptops, both the same type.

Disconnecting and connecting HDMI cable doesn't help.

Restarting laptop doesn't help.

The only reliable way to get rid of the artifact is to power cycle the monitor.

Is there anything to improve the situation?

Thanks in advance

Pawel
