I am getting very slow speeds on my Comp 35Mbpsaverage I am suppose to get100. My comp is getting wifi wirelessly from about 25 ft direct line to my Arris router. I can get 5G on my cell and note book but only 2G on comp.
Can I solve this by using a plug in 5G adaptor.
Presently using installed adaptor Ralink RT5390R 802.11 BGN adaptor

Hi:
Yes, you can purchase an external USB dual band N or AC wifi adapter.
The Ralink RT5390R 802.11 BGN adapter is a single band wifi adapter only.
Anytime you see a wifi N adapter with a suffix that ends in BGN, that means it is a single band wifi adapter.
Dual band wifi N adapters have suffixes that end in ABGN or AGN.
