I am having problems with wireless connectivity on my Deskjet 2540. I previously had a good connection but after a professional "clean up" the blue wireless light flashes continuously after the white power light has stableised. The blue light always flashed a few times and was then constant. I have recently installed a ner BT router high speed broadband is operating. Can you help me please?

I am not HP support, but it appears to me that this could be an issue with this printer on occasion and one which may be associated with various causes rather than a single one. I'm not sure, but I hope the information helps somewhat.
My concern would be that the firmware was somehow compromised during the cleanup (not sure what your cleanup entailed and not to blame anyone). If you have recently purchased the unit, it may still be under warranty. Here is the number for HP support:
