Bluetooth Compatibility with MS Surface Keyboard

This desktop works fine with a wireless Logitech keyboard & mouse (#K520) and the supplied USB dongle . . . I would like to use the MS Surface keyboard and connect via bluetooth directly to the Desktop for a better user experience/quieter key strokes.  Three areas I've explored on the desktop due to the inability to connect the Surface Keyboard:

1) Device Mgr - no Bluetooth file listed

2) Settings - "Bluetooth & Other Devices" exists, you can add a device, does not have a toggle (on/off), and has not recognized the Surface Keyboard when in pairing mode

3) App's - Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth (R), 19.11.1639.0649 (26.7MB, 1/24/17) is installed

4) Drivers updated as of 5/13/20

Recommendations on next steps appreciated.  Thank you.

The specs of your machine is

It does NOT have internal / Built in Bluetooth.  Option

There are many brands and models around, cheaper too.

Note: I did post on this forum many times: Please don't ask me why I did test few BT mice from few vendors and by some unknown reasons I could not work out why Microsoft mice perfectly work on MS Surface machines, Dell's mice work perfectly on Dell machines ....

Now back to your question: you still have to use a dongle (with a question mark) for new keyboard. Do you really need it because your Logitech set works perfectly.
