I updated the HP Support Assistant yesterday on my OMEN PC 880, and when I booted up my computer today it would not connect to my network via Ethernet or by Wi-Fi.
I tried to update the drivers, but I get the following error messages:
"There might be a problem with the driver for Ethernet adapter"
"There might be a problem with the driver for Wi-Fi adapter"
Other computers and CE that are on my network that use the Ethernet and Wi-Fi are working perfectly.
My computer has a Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac PCle adapter.
What is the best way to fix/update this driver. Obviously I cant do an update on the OMEN PC 880, since it doesn't connect to the internet, so I'll have to download the fix onto a thumb drive and install it from there.
Has anybody else had this issue when they updated the HP Support Assistant?
Thanks
