Hi all, i know that this is an awfully old and retired product, but i want to build a retro rig and **bleep** is it hard to find drivers for this desktop, does anyone have them cached anywhere? it's seems impossible to find.
the only thing that catched my interest was two websites.
1: An Amazon seller selling a CD with all drivers pretty cheap, (yeah it's an option but still, i'll probably end up buying it)
2: A russian site with all the drivers, although this one seemed good at first, in the end the drivers couldn't detect my hardware, not finding the network card etc..
I'm just wondering is there anyone on here that has the drivers for this product i mean it can't be all lost to history? they gotta be here somewhere...
dammit i really want to use this PC. anyhelp regarding drivers especially for the network card is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi:
Yes, that is the hardware ID I needed for the ethernet controller, but you made a typo on the first part. It is 8086.
Here is the ethernet driver you need...the first driver on the list is for 32 bit.
Graphics:

This Intel chipset driver should work. Install and restart the PC. I would install this driver first...
This package installs Intel Chipset support on the listed desktop models and operating systems.

Let me know if you need any additional drivers. Post the hardware ID's...

Hi:
We might be able to find drivers from a business PC with the same hardware.
Can you give me some basic info on the specs? What model Pentium processor, Intel chipset version (815, 845, 865...)?
Also, please post the hardware ID's for the devices that need drivers.
You need to have XP SP2 or SP3 installed to find the hardware ID's.
To find the hardware ID, click on each device that needs drivers.
Then click on the Details tab at the top of the device window.
Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.

CPU: Pentium 4 2.53ghz i don't know the chipset version 😕
GPU: NvIDIA GEFORCE4 ti 4600 128mb
MOTHERBOARD: it says MS-6541 ver 1.0 right under the AGP slot.
RAM:2gb running at 400mhz.
I need the drivers for the ethernet controller, i'm asuming this is the one on the motherboard, the only other device that is found on network connections is a 1394 net adapter.
Anyway i'm assuming this is the product ID you're asking for
PCI\VEN_8986&DEV_1039&SUBSYS_00910E11&REV_81\4&25296D99&0&4OFO
