I have recently acquired 2 x HP EliteDesks L1G76AV I5-6500s for my office that were thrown away by my local support guys. I have just found out why - they can't, despite my Herculean efforts, connect to the Internet. Now before anyone starts giving me all the usual solutions one can find on Youtube and elsewhere I have tried many of them and all to no avail. There is an Ethernet card and i think I have (now) update the driver for this (which is another story) and I have fiddled with all the Windows Troubleshooters, disabling device, netSH commands, entering new addresses etc. etc. The cables are fine as is the router. I must have tried around 20 different ways to solve this problem. So I need someone from HP to tell me why it is that these PCs cannot connect ands what I can do about it. Please...

Hello @BlondeBeast
Yes you can use USB-to-Ethernet adapter. It should be plug&play or provide all required drivers for Windows operating system.
Give it a try and keep me updated.
Good luck
