I upgraded to a faster internet 5G and it does not show up in the available networks. It works on my phone and the speed is way up (170-190 mbps). Speed test on my computer is still 40-50 Mbps. Trying everything. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

You need a different wireless card. They are quite cheap. yours is b/g/n, you need either a/b/g/b or the best would be an ac card.

Hi,
The Wireless card in your PC is not a dual band card. If we look at the spec page for the PC we can see that the card is
Wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n featuring Single-band (2.4Ghz) 1x1
You will need to upgrade to a dual band module (ac) to be able to use the 5Ghz network.
Hope it helps,
David

I went to Staples and got an AC600 Duel Band adapter. Worked like a charm. Its over four times faster in every speed test. Each website is a breeze now. Huge difference.
Thank you so much David. Happy Holidays.
