Would a Win 11 reset fix the problem?

No.  I have tried to install sp142005.exe on 3 different USB drives using  copy/paste and  Control C/Control V and had only failures.

I have succeeded in copy/paste to a note pad and then tried copy/paste from the note pad to the USB- failure.

What if I RESET Win 11 (saving files of course) ?  Will a reset find the correct internet files?

Ask a friend/neighbor/acquaintance who knows computers well to help you to install sp142005.exe on HP Pavilion All-In-One PC.
