Hi @Parapanda,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand that your computer has a mobile hotspot option, but you cannot find the mobile data option. To help identify the cause, could you please confirm the following?
- What is your exact HP laptop model?
- Are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11?
- Are you referring to the Cellular/Mobile Data option in Windows Settings, where you would normally see a SIM or mobile network connection?
- Does your laptop have a SIM card slot or built-in cellular connectivity, or are you trying to use mobile data from your phone?
In the meantime, please check the following:
- Open Settings > Network & Internet and look for Cellular.
- Open Device Manager and expand Network adapters. Check whether a cellular modem or mobile broadband adapter is listed.
- In Device Manager, select View > Show hidden devices and check whether any cellular device or unknown device appears.
- Open Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates and check for available network-related drivers.
Best regards,
Kuroi_Kenshi
