Need help logging on to 192.168.1.1

Hello,
trying to reset my security password- and same problem as listed- tried using admin for admin and password for password at [url=http://www.192168-11.pw]http://192.168.1.1[/url], but seem to have locked myself out.
What should I do to unlock?

That IP address is one of two IP addresses that router manufacturers routinely assign to their equipment.  This IP address indicates that the router is running on subnet 192.168.1 and is the first device on that subnet.

To talk to that router properly, you need to have your PC set to assign IP addresses automatically -- through the DHCP settings on the router, or to manually assigned your PC to 192.168.1.2. 

When you login to a router, especially one of the newer ones, it will ask for a login and password.

We are NOT able to provide those, as they are assigned by the equipment manufacturer.  In some cases, that information is included in a booklet that came with the router.  In other cases, it is printer on a sticker that is on the router.

If you want to connect to your own router, the easiest way is to work with an Ethernet cable. Nearly all laptops own an Ethernet port, as do a good number of desktop computers.

Link your unit to the router to make sure that wireless configurations can be eliminated as the cause of all issues.

Hi webdangol...

This is my solution for user can't login to router web admin.

Make sure your PC are connected to router.

1. Open and type IP Address 192.168.1.1 in your web browser
2. if you don't know what your router password and username is, try to search your default router password click here
3. If you still can't logging in, restore to the factory settings, press the reset button using a sharp object such as the tip of the pen or the needle or paper clip, press and hold for 20 seconds, release and wait until the router reboots.
