Please help me I am desperate:

After a restart today my computer suddenly no longer displays the network wifi icon on taskbar right.

So I go to check Settings > Network & Internet and when I click to go there the window opens for a second and the closes / crashes.

I followed all steps discussed in this thread:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Wireless-and-Networking/quot-Network-and-Internet-quot-Setting...

Please help me, I have uninstalled network adapter drives and still it is not working. I am desperately in need of accessing the internet with this computer.

Thank you

You're very welcome.

Hopefully one of their experts can help you out.

I just don't know enough about that model's wifi to be of direct assistance.

My two main desktop PC's are Dells.  An Optiplex 7050 and an Optiplex 7020.

I installed HP PCIe x1 Intel AC wifi adapters in both of mine.
