I just restored a HP all in one to factory settings. The first screen asked for my country. The second screen asked for my keyboard type. The third Street wants me to connect to a network. I have no options. It says the ethernet is not connected and the Wi-Fi is turned off. There is a drop down that says turn Wi-Fi back on manually, in 1 hour, in 4 hours, or in 1 day. Regardless of which one I pick the next button is grayed out and I cannot get past the screen. I do not have a key on the keyboard that's marked Wi-Fi so I can't see how I can toggle Wi-Fi on. I'm literally stuck on the screen I can't go back I can't go forward.

Also I believe it's Windows 10.

Please post the product number of your PC.

To find the product number for your PC, click on the search icon on your Windows taskbar.

Type: System Information

The System information app should show up.

Run the app and the product number of your PC will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.

You don't seem to understand. I can't get into the computer or the desktop. I can't get past the new first time startup screens. Once again to be clear I am on the screen that wants me to connect to a network and my Wi-Fi is turned off and I don't see any way to turn it on. The first two screens were to choose my country and my keyboard layout. That's it. I wish I had a test bar but it doesn't exist yet

I did find the sticker on the bottom of the screen. 24-f0027MB

Isn't there an option to set up a local account without having to connect to the internet?

Then after you do that, you may need to install the Wi-Fi driver which according to the parts list for your PC would be this one.

There isnt. I didnt even get to the , sign in w your microsoft acct, screen...that is next. The wifi driver works. I was talking to microsoft support ...that had me do ctrl/f10 at start up. Instead of bringing me to a command prompt it started the computer as a random user 01 (i forget exactly what it said but it wasnt an actual user) requiring a password. At that screen they had me turn off wifi through the icon . Inturned it off and started it up again and it brought me back into the nornal 1st time conouter startup prompts, only now the wifi is off. Before he had me do this i was able to sign to wifi, and the problem i was originally having was that i wanted to bypass the microsoft login screen. Now i cant even get to that because i cant get oast the wifi sign on screen .   I mentioned the optuins i have which are none because the next button is greyed out, it doesnt let me do anything.  Does any of that make any sense....its confusing to try to type out...

Thr link you attached isnt applicable as there is no step 2. After configuring my keyboard layout, it goes right to.......you need to connect to wifi to continue ....

From what you are describing, it seems to me like your PC has Windows 11 installed, not W10 because Windows 10 does not require you to have an internet connection to continue setup.

Take a look at this link for how to bypass the Wi-Fi requirement to set up Windows.

Skip down to the screenshots in the link where you are at the same process of having selected a keyboard layout and continue from there.

Thanks for all your help on this. I'll take a look at your link.  I think you might be right on it being windows 11. It was actually defaultuser0 that came up asking for the password which is a temporary account set up by the system during OOBE (whatever that is). But that only comes up/came up once. It was on that screen that had a Wi-Fi icon and from that icon I turned it off. That's the problem. If I could get that screen to come up again I could put the wi-fi back on again I'll check your link....
