Omen 45L. Looking for a  quick step guide on how to change the wifi adapter to a wifi 6 adapter. This YouTube channel  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSYYmhJryD8 shows the physical steps required, but does not indicate the drivers required or any additional steps I may be missing. In addition, is there a specific Intel part model # that is required by HP desktops?

Thank you.

Thank you. I read through the linked material. When switching from Realtek to the Intel adapter should I be removing the PCI driver for Realtek and installing the Intel PCI driver prior to shutdown and installation of the Intel hardware or will the computer recognize the new Intel adapter and install the necessary drivers?

Normally you should just remove the old wifi card @Ponti28

you can remove the driver, but not a must
then place the new wifi card!
You should have a driver installed, but probably outdated
in any case, yes, the best will be to download the corresponding driver and install it
