HP Envy 27-B214
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It's been 6 years since I bought a computer, and obviously things have changed! Just bought the Envy 27-B214 and discovered that it doesn't have the phone jacks required to use the fax in my HP 8620 printer. Any suggestions?

TIA,

Cindy P

@cindypstones

How do you connect your printer now ? Both devices support wireless connection therefore you can conntect BOTH of them to a same wifi network and you can use Fax function on your printer with your new computer.

The following article shows you few options

Thank you for your reply BH, I appreciate it. Currently, my printer is connected by a phone line to the modem, and another phone line to my home phone. The link that you provided states that you have to have a phone line to fax, unless you use efax. I have never tried efax, but looks like I will have to try it with the new computer, since it doesn't have a phone jack.

Thank You,

Cindy P
