Problem with the distance to use the keyboard and mouse wireless C2710

Good evening,

My GF just offer me the pack mouse and keyboard wireless C2710 in the aim to connect my CP to the TV and control it at 3 meters away.

The problem that neither the mouse and keyboard work at 3 meters but perfectly work at 20 centimeters of the usb dongle.

The batteries are freshs (the products are new)

I connect the usb dongle to the 2 others usb ports and the result is the same.

I update all the bluetooth peripherals.  

My CP is a MSI with windows 10 64 bits. 

If someone has a solution I will appreciate it.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

1. Locate the USB receiver for the device, and then make sure it is connected directly into a USB port  on the computer.

   NOTE: 

   A USB hub might not provide enough power for your device to connect properly.

   

   If you cannot locate the receiver, check the original packaging. Some HP Touch and All-in-Ones come with the USB receiver preinstalled in the computer. Or, look for a USB storage container on the device.

   

2. Look for and remove any battery tabs from the device. This tab prevents the device from receiving power.

   

3. Make sure the device has adequate power.

   • If the device uses batteries, install new batteries according to the guide in the battery compartment.

     

   • If the device is rechargeable, connect the charging cable to the device, and then to a power source, such as a USB-charging port on the computer or an external USB power adapter.

     1. LED battery indicator

     2. MicroUSB cable to charging device

4. If the device has a power switch, confirm the switch is set to ON.

   

5. On your computer, test the device.

If the issue persists, perform the steps mentioned under 'Keyboard or mouse does not work' in this document.
