Will the HP Stream Notebook 11-r000na (Energy Star) (Windows 10) and HP Pavilion g6 (Windows 7) receive WiFi at 5GHz as well as 2.4GHz?

I don't know what is your Pavilion dv6 because there are hundreds of different models/products called dv6. But I can say: both machine can't see 5GHz networks. Only 2.4GHz.

Thanks for your reply, I can stop wasting time now trying to get 5GHz working. The Pavilion is an HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC Product Number A3S73EAQ#ABU but I suppose your reply still applies. Thanks again, JT B
