How can I upgrade a HP Envy 700-414 to 5G

The wifi card is lying flat on the motherboard and will have one or two thin and delicate antenna wires connected to it.

 

If it has two wires attached to it, you can upgrade to the card I posted above.

 

You can see what the wifi card looks like by looking at the illustration at the link below under the Networking specifications section.  The picture is much larger than the card really is.  The card is about an inch wide and 3/4 of an inch high.

Hi:

 

If there are two Wi-Fi antenna wires connected to the Broadcom Wi-Fi card your PC comes with, you can upgrade to this dual band AC card...You will have to open up the PC and inspect.

 

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0    HP Part # 710661-001

 

You can find the card on eBay.

 

Search by the HP part number not the model of the Wi-Fi card.

I'm an armature at this.  Even fi I opened my computer I wouldnt know what to look for.  I think you are saying I can up grade my 700-414 to 5G?
