Where can I find the Windows 10 driver for an older HP mouse? The HP site does not even recognize the S/N ([Personal Information Removed]) or the product name (H3T51AA). Surely there must be a cache of older drivers someplace.

hi
a mouse, does not need drivers to work, they must be installed automatically!
plug-and-play hardware!
except in special cases, you will find practically no drivers for a mouse
but according to the product number, it seems to be a Bluetooth type mouse?

Hi, @ernie37
HP only supported that device for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
There were no further driver updates.
It appears that HP has retired support for that mouse, but this reputable 3rd party driver website has the drivers that HP released for it.
HP X4000b Bluetooth Mouse drivers (driverscollection.com)
Maybe the W8 driver will work on W10.

Sorry, nothing works. Downloaded the X4000 driver from driverscollection.com and installed it, but no cigar. Tried the trick of going to the "add device" form on the PC and pressing the discovery/connect button on the mouse. The PC refuses to see the mouse. I know the mouse is fine because it connects with my Mac instantly.
The strange thing is the mouse used to work fine with Windows 10 on this computer. It stopped working when I was trying to troubleshoot another problem. My hunch is I accidentally deleted the driver and there is no compatible driver out there to reinstall. Frustrating.
It's a very simple mouse. There is no good reason why it should not work, once a driver is installed.
I guess I give up on this mouse. But, thanks for the reply.

hi
maybe it's not from the mouse, but from the bluetooth driver
The person indicates here under windows 7, but see with your computer, what it is!

this problem seems quite common with this model and windows 10
