Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I have been trying to solve this problem for months. I got it working before the big Windows 10 update, but now the problem is back.
Does anybody know what should be done to fix it. Which driver is working? I tried to update driver, roll back driver, generic driver, bluetooth support service, disallowing the computer to turn off this device to  save power on bluetooth and wifi adapter and so on. But the mouse still keeps disconnecting even in the middle of work with it.

I have updated Windows 10 64 bit.

Hi, Thank you for your answer.
It looks like the problem was with the batteries 🙂
Today the bluetooth mouse was working for about 1,5 minutes, after turning the mouse off and on again for just 15 seconds and then nothing. I measured 1,5V AA batteries and they had just 1V.

Hi there  @CoSpi

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome! This is a great site to get answers and ask questions. I have looked into the issue you are having with Bluetooth and came across some documents that may help you resolve the Bluetooth issue.

The first document I found is called Using Bluetooth Devices. This document may be helpful because it walks you through connecting devices.

The second document I found is called Understanding and troubleshooting Bluetooth wireless technology. This document has other helpful information about drivers, making sure everything is Bluetooth enabled, fixing Bluetooth problems, etc.

Have you tried in the Device Manager to update the driver that is currently installed? In the device manager try selecting find new hardware.

Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating for Windows 10.

Here is a link from Microsoft called Connect to Bluetooth Devices

Batteries were indeed my problem. No specific error messages pointed to it. Mouse needed to be taken apart. Not obvious at first how to do that, but it's not unreasonable to figure it out. Be careful with the parts for the reassemble.

I had the same problem did you try this?

Go to the device manager and click on the blue tooth adapter and click properties and then click on Power Management and turn off the setting that says "Allow Windows to turn off this device to save power".

To solve my issue with my new zbook, I had to remove the power saving from the bluetooth device and the USB port that is driving the device.
