Brian, your best bet is to buy a new WiFi adapter and use that. The one HP ships integrated into the system is buggy and they cannot seem to figure out how to fix the problems. I bought a new adapter (~$50) and have been working trouble free now for over a month.

Thanks! Do you have any recommendations on an adapter? Are they mostly plug and play or are there compatibility requirements to consider?

Mostly plug-n-play. I picked the TP-Link WiFi 6 AX3000 PCIe WiFi Card for PC, I bought it at NewEgg.

I haven't tried this test. But I did find another forum that uses an identical Realtek adapter (RTL8822CE 802.11acPCle Adapter), I have a slightly updated driver.

The recommendation still stands, this adapter is trash and should be replaced. They suggested HP Part #L35282-005. Im looking into this now for potential compatibility issues. Looks to be pretty cheap (~$10).
