My hp desktop computer won’t connect to the internet via wi-fi. It was working just fine last week. Now all of a sudden nothing. My computer won’t even detect any wireless networks. It’s almost like I don’t even have a wireless network card. I’ve run diagnostics and can’t seem to find the issue. Also I have rebooted the computer several times. Let me know if there are any suggestions to fix this.

Hi @Lunchlady13

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand that your desktop is no longer detecting any wireless networks, even though it was working fine last week. I appreciate that you’ve already tried running diagnostics and rebooting the system multiple times — that helps narrow things down.

To guide you further, I’ll need a few details:

  • Could you confirm the exact HP desktop model you’re using?
  • Are you running Windows 10, Windows 11, or another operating system?
  • When you ran diagnostics, did it mention anything about the wireless adapter being disabled or missing?
  • Do you see the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar, or is it completely absent?

These details will help us understand whether the issue is with the wireless card itself, the drivers, or possibly a setting that has changed.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
