Hi guys, 

I have no idea what is going on, I am trying to log in on my universities WiFi but when I click the button to connect to the WiFi it says I have to sign in to “windows security”  please help I’ve been dealing with this issue for the past few days.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

Solution 1: Right-click on the account that inflicts Windows Security prompt and select Change. Select More settings. Under the Security tab, uncheck the ”Always prompt for login credentials” box and confirm changes

 

Solution 2: (Microsoft )

  1. Click on Start.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Network & Internet.
  4. On the Status tab, click on Network reset.

Doing this will make Windows forget the connection credentials and other networking components. You may have to re-enter you WiFi credentials if you will attempt to connect to your home network.
