HP Envy 700 200 Z E6S60AV#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My desktop computer is connected to a Wifi Actiontec (Verizon) router via ethernet cable through a Qualcom   Atheros network adapter.

The computer is provided with a  Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn  Wifi adapter.

If I want to change from Ethernet to wireless what should I do?

For ex. disconnect the ethernet and then configure Ralink.

Please advise

You can connect both wired and wireless to same router at the same time. Or you simply pull the LAN cable out and connect wifi to router using following steps:

(a) Click the wireless icon at the bottom right corner,

(b) Select you SSID on the list (because it can see your neighbor SSID's too),

(c) Enter your network password (PIN, key) and Click Connect (remember to tick "Auto connect").

Regard.
