If your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop is experiencing issues with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, here are some steps to troubleshoot:
1. Check Airplane Mode
- Press Win + A to open the Action Center.
- Ensure Airplane Mode is turned off.
2. Restart Network Services
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
- Scroll down to WLAN AutoConfig and Bluetooth Support Service.
- Right-click each service, select Restart, and set Startup Type to Automatic.
3. Update Network & Bluetooth Drivers
- Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
- Expand Network Adapters and Bluetooth.
- Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter and Bluetooth adapter, then select Update Driver.
- Choose Search automatically for drivers.
4. Reinstall Network & Bluetooth Drivers
- In Device Manager, right-click the Wi-Fi adapter and Bluetooth adapter.
- Select Uninstall device and restart your laptop.
- Windows should automatically reinstall the drivers.
5. Run HP Network Diagnostics
- Open HP Support Assistant and run Network Check.
- If HP Support Assistant isn’t installed, download it from HP’s official site.
6. Reset Network Settings
- Open Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings.
- Click Network Reset and restart your laptop.
7. Check BIOS Settings
- Restart your laptop and press F10 to enter BIOS.
- Navigate to Advanced > Built-in Device Options.
- Ensure Wireless LAN and Bluetooth are enabled.
8. Check for Windows Updates
- Go to Settings > Windows Update.
- Install any pending updates, especially those related to network drivers.
9. Perform a Power Drain
- Turn off the laptop and unplug it.
- Hold the power button for 30 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
