Is there such a list as to which wifi mini cards will work with my PC. It is a HP pavilion 500-223 desktop. Any info is greatly appericated.

I understand that you are looking to upgrade your Desktop PC with the Wi-Fi mini card. Your computer is compatible with the Wi-Fi mini cards. Your PC has one PCI Express half-length mini card expansion slot where you can insert the Wi-Fi mini card.

 

There are several brands of Wi-Fi mini cards such as HP, D-Link Atheros etc. Check few of the HP PCI wireless cards here: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Mini-PCI-Wireless-HP-Internal-Network-Cards/20318/bn_2789230/i.html
