want to change my single band  wireless  PCI -e half-lenght minicard type 802.11 b/g/n , (2.4 GHz) to a dual band  card

2.4  &  5.0  GHz.  is this possible ???  Pat.Belgium

Yes, I don't see why that card wouldn't work just fine.

 

As a matter of fact, you can remove the current card and holder in the PCIe x1 slot it is in now, and put the new one in its place.

Hi:

 

it is only possible if your PC currently has two antennas connected to the wireless card in there now.

 

After you check to see if it has two antennas connected to the wifi card, I will give you some suggested cards to install.

 

If not, you will need to install a dual band external USB wireless network adapter (which you may want to do anyway).

unfortunately , there is only one antenna connection , ( one wire)

I tought to use the  " PCIE x1" connector on the mobo , with a ASUS   PCE -AC68  - AC1900 Dualband card with external

antenna.

Could this be an option.?  PAT-14_Belgium..
