the wifi has totally disapeared

HP Recommended

in this case it would be necessary to open the computer
Unplug everything
unplug the power
keep the power button pressed for at least 30sec
then remove the wifi card
reconnect the wifi card,
reconnect keyboard, mouse and monitor
then restart the computer
open device manager
if nothing is detected, click on the button "search / detected hardware"
if the card is still not detected
it may have a problem, get a usb wifi dongle!
